  Expansion Clamping Shafts

Range of Use:

Expansion clamping shafts are used for clamping of rollers. Wound material can be made of paper, plastic, textile or metal.

Winding Method:

Use of expansion clamping shaft provides a detachable joint of rollers and
drive/brake. It serves for torque transfer at acceleration and deceleration as well and prevents slipping.
For guide rollers it is important to centre the rollers by clamping.

Economy:

Number of roller exchange cycles and required time for roller exchange is determinative
for down times of the machine and cost of its operation. With good handling and
quick clamping and unclamping through the use of expansion clamping shaft down times
of the machine are minimized and utilization of manpower is increased.
